ART TEACHER



Jack has been teaching for approximately sixteen years with a wide range of experience. Initially working in schools, running residences, workshops and clubs. Origin Arts Ltd began tentatively ten years ago with one adult class. Jack qualified with PTTLS whilst teaching at a women's support centre and was invited to set up several other adult classes.

Whilst training as an actor professionally, Jack has always painted and believed that art is your most personal and individual voice. 

Classes are foremost about the individuals' voice, the encouragement to engage and express that, whilst being given the skills to do so effectively. It is important therefore to have fun, enjoy the process, and feel supported by both Jack and friendships in the community. 

Whilst lockdown was a challenge for us all it did broaden our horizons. Zoom enabled us to welcome people from their studios, front rooms and gardens! Regardless of mobility, family or geographic restrictions, we can now welcome you to our community via our thriving online classes.
