Stephen newell

Stephen rattles off his poetry as a direct observation to us. We often wish he would step in as a voice of wisdom however he is difinitively his own man and shares only what he sees. He is a calming equilibrium to us as an older member of the family. He is a socialist, atheist, stoic and gruff! He gives his poems no weight of value , scribbling them down and leaving them for us to pick up and do what we will with them. He has a northern accent , for a reason we don’t know, but it adds to the rhythm of his words
